Alright, for the past 2 days xbox.com hasn't been letting me buy MS points using paypal, so I tried removing then re-adding the paypal account and after I removed it I tried re-adding it, and what do ya know, I got the same message that I got when I tried to get the points, "this action cannot be performed, please try again later." I've gone through all the support sections, and I went to bill.microsoft.whatever, and that was no help. So now I can't even add a [censored] paypal account, and I really don't wanna have to spend 20 dollars on a 1600 MS points card, especially when I want only 500 MS points.



anyone have any idea how this could be fixed? I don't think it's the website because I tried adding a paypal account on a different gamertag that I don't use, and it worked perfectly.

That rarely worked for me back when I still had my 360. I eventually had to go through the website.

Buying them via the 360 has always worked perfectly for me. If that fails you can always get points at any gamestore or store that has games at all.

I don't even think you can add points using paypal on your console, but can you add a paypal account using your console?

Hmm, it's always worked for me, even on the original Xbox. Never had any problems in the many years I've had Live.

Edit: No, you can't use a paypal account on the console, you need to use either a debit or credit card.

I'll try using a debit/credit card. But hopefully it'll let me us paypal someday.

Alright, well I added a debit card to my account, tried to get 500 points, and would you look at that, "could not perform this action at this time, please try again later". So then I went on my 360 and tried to get 500 points, I press "confirm purchase" "could not retrieve information from xbox live marketplace"
