Glitch around Orotheim quest : V

Every time I try to fast travel or land travel to Orotheim for the quest to get the new technology, my game CTDs in an instant requiring restarting the program.
Do I have to reinstall the whole game to deal with a corrupted file?
Or is there another way to get around this and still complete the quest in Dawnguard?
