I'm at the point in the game where I met Mr. House, killed Benny, and brought the platinum chip back to Mr. House. On my way back to Mr. House, someone from Caesar's Legion approached me and informed me the Caesar wanted to speak to me.

After I met with Mr. House, he sent me off with the Platinum Chip TO meet with Caesar, however when I entered the Fort at the Caesar's Legion HQ everyone began firing on me.

I'm extremely confused, since the NPC who invited me to come meet the Caesar specifically said anything that I had done that was bad to them before would be pardoned.

Instead, now I'm failing the quest "Render Unto Caesar" and I have no clue where to go to find the hidden bunker or whatever for Mr. House.




Is there a way to reset the quest, and reset their faction? Perhaps by using the console?

Did you release Benny? I made that mistake while seeing what would happen and realized I didn't have a save that was less than an hour and a half away...That could be it.

I released Benny. I have the mark of Caesar, but I too am being attacked. I've even tried going in there disguised. Nothing is working.

Maybe you have Boone with you?

No, I got Benny alone and executed him.

I had Mark of the Caesar.

Not sure if it mattered, but I had Boone with me, although he never seemed to follow me out of the Lucky 38 Casino.

Perhaps he started to catch up by the time I reached the Fort, and started killing Legion people? Although I didn't see him anywhere at all, so I'm not sure.



My real question is; does anyone know how to restart the quest & make Caesar's Legion neutral to me again?

It could be a glitch from killing Benny in proximity of Caesar or something...Something like this happened to me in FO3, I would try reloading an old save and doing the quest again. :/

Happened to me too, it's because you have Boone as a companion, he is an ex-NCR guy and still has all the same allegiances - tell him to wait somewhere out of the way and you should be fine.

Ahh, crap.




Do you know where to go for the next step of the main quest line, then? The mysterious bunker Mr. House wants me to take the Platinum Coin to?

After you talk to Caesar, exit the tent and immediately take a right down a small drop off, the bunker is in a shed looking building after you pass some Legionaries doing some training.
