If you make your character a heavy then make your default weapons a heavy and a medium weapon when you switch to light and start a game they use those weapons as a light.

Seems believable, but I'm not totally convinced until I see it. If it's actually a problem, then it'll be fixed ASAP.

I'm messing around with it again trying to figure out exactly how it happened and if i can make it happen again. If they haven't fixed it already i'll try to get some kind of video up.

have done this myself. no video but yeah just set your preferred weapons when your a heavy then switch to a light body and play, you get the heavy weapons at the start

I did it on PS3, too. It's weird.

While thats a nice glitch, it kind of kills the ebb and flow of the light class. Try wall hopping into a dude and time a knife melee kill just right and tell me if you still want that minigun. Cheers!

have they ninja-patched this, or is there a specific method to it, because every combination of weapons and
body switching I try gets me no results ( I even tryed joining someones game after switching to light and
not leaving the char customize screen, it just spawns me back as heavy and keeps me that way) my
Caesar Revolver is my main weapon but having that Lmg would be epic for some cliff-side supressing
fire while my team moves up. I some how still got the chinzor on my original light guy the first day but
I really like the Lmg =/

Since the first time I did it, I haven't been able to again.

Whenever I change body type, no matter what I'm changing from and to, I get my weapons switched to the wrong SMG and Pistol.

Even if I'm changing from Light to Medium/Heavy, it resets my weapons, and I have to reselect them. I suppose it's better than having to worry about people with Heavy weapons on Light bodies.
