Glitch with Boone wearing Space Suit

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 6:23 am

I gave Boone the space suit and then took it back from him. However, he still has a copy of it and he keeps wearing it. I can't take it away from him and he won't switch out of it. Does anyone have any idea as to how I could do something to get rid of it on him? I'm on PC so maybe something with the console?

TIA

Try giving him another armor and see if he puts that on.

I did that and he won't :( I'm using a mod that adusts armor DT/DR values (XFO) and the space suit has DR80. I don't have another armor that has more than that, so I don't know if he would put on a different armor if I had one that had higher DR.

If you find one that is higher he should certainly put it on. But if you don't , just let him keep the glitched space suit. It works out in your favor he gets real good armor and you get another copy. So this seems like one glitch that may be beneficial.

You could try the console command removeallitems (no spaces) with him selected, but it may cause more problems as in remove his standard weapon/ammo and you would lose his items for good, so i would save it before trying it. However there is also a console command resurrect when you use this on a live npc it gives them back their original inventory so maybe try the first command then this one to see if it will give him back his orginal items.
