A glitchy beginning

Use this as a spot to list whatever glitch you have experienced. If you think topic is stupid, don't post.

I entered the saloon in Goodsprings and Sunny Smiles greeted me. Though I couldn't see her because the game promptly turned the camera to the floor and beyond into a grey point of view. I told her Goodbye to try again, that is when I noticed her. Her face is missing. Eyes...check, teeth...check, hair...check, but no skin. Tried talking to her again, got the floor boards. Walked in and out of saloon, still no face, tried talking to her and got the floor boards again. Wow, my Fallout 3 experience wasn't this weird.

I got the no skin glitch with myself while creating my character.

Tried to hack the computer in the starting area bar and no ui overlay came up. I activated it, heard the passwords outputting, but no ui. I can't hack what I can't see :(

That is weird. In Fallout 3, I experienced freezes or pauses, usually when entering VATS. If I waited out the freeze, the game would finally go to VATS. I attributed this to a corrupted save and restarted from a previous save. But you're right it is hard to play when you can't see anything. I honestly don't want to play, get far then find some glitch which will force me to start over.

You have to believe that Obsidian is well aware of the glitches and errors and is working on a patch. I'll wait.

I had my 1st crash while fighting some Powder Gangs. I looted the corpses opened the PIP Boy and crash. Then in Primm the guy you rescues head was stuck in the ceiling walking. At times too the girl would get stuck on her dog. Some of the voices won't match up to the lips. Very dissapointed with the condition the game is at launch. Shame.

Powder Ganger Camp West: Ganger floated in mid air during our battle. Is that normal? Glad I spent 80 buck on the collectors edition for this. O_o

I've played for about 8 hours straight without any freezing or major bug. Only consistent problem seems to be that the game lags a bit at times, for example the game might stutter while initially entering a new are of the waste land. The worse I've experienced is a two second lock up, where everything froze on screen and came back afterwards.

Combat is all together smooth, no problems there.

Popping textures here and there, in one specific house in goodsprings, there was atexture glitch on a the floor.

Also, with the brahmin skin outfit, I will see verticle white stripes appear when zooming with my weapon holstered.
