Hi,

Please help me Bethesda. Everytime I go into VATS mode, the screen becomes white and the game crashes. I've tried to reload the game from the autosave and my saves and still the same.

Is this a bug? I really don't want to start again. I can't believe Bethesda would publish such a highly anticipated game with so many bugs! Guys, please sort this out.

Can anyone offer me any help?

At what location does the save load you to? Nipton?

The same thing was happening to me so i deleted everything and had to restart the game. I haven't had to have a chance to play that much but it has worked so far for me. Hope this helps.


Yea I was in Nipton too.

My game is doing the same thing, and yes I'm in Nipton when I load up. STUPID VATS!

The autosave loads me to after I've spoken to Luitenant at Prim(sp?), and my save is when I wake up from a bed on the top floor of a building.

I'm at Prim (I think it's called). It's the first NRC base and I have to cross the bridge and find out who tried to kill me. The thing crashes when i cross the bridge, and I am faced with enemies near the petrol station and around me and BOOM! It crashes, again and again and again!


Please help!

This is the first time I've heard of VATS crashing in some place other than Nipton. Here's a workaround thread that may help:

LegoArmy, try doing workaround 1, but fast travel to Goodspring and do a fresh save there instead. After you get done with the instructions try going back to Primm and crossing the bridge.
