I don't play much online and the last DLC I bought was probably for F3. So do you need gold to get the DLC on the 21st? I cant really remember.

You need access to the Xbox live marketplace, so I would assume you need a Gold membership....but I could be mistaken, I've only ever had a gold membership.

Edit: looking at the xbox webpage I think I'm wrong...

So I don't need gold? good, I'm not giving M$ anymore money then I have to.

With Silver Membership, you can't play online, but you can use other features, like marketplace (i think) and speak with friends and with Gold Membership, you can play online, use marketplace, and do everything else. But I'm not sure if my information is correct or not.

I've been trying to find the info on their website, but they're throwing out mixed signals..... Do you have access to the marketplace now? If not, than I don't know how you would download the new content. If you do have access to the marketplace with the silver membership then you probly will be able to download it eventually...though I suspect the DLC will come out for gold memberships first and you might have to wait.... Like I said they don't make it easy to find the info you need.

Doesn't say. The "dead money" DLC may very well only be available to gold memberships on the 21st and silver who knows when... Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have my answer....you CAN get the DlC on the 21st with only a silver membership.
