Anyone know of any goldmines other than the one near Markarth? I wanted scratch up a little gold.

unfortunately, that's the only official one in all of the holds. But there might be random ore veins across Skyrim. Keep an eye out when Dungeon crawling. I've found iron ore that way. I also ran across Corundum, Malachite and Orchalium ore veins that were at a remote Giant's camp while exploring the wilderness
