I'm gonna chance it

I've patiently waited to start a new character and play all the way through the game for the first time. My first playthrough was cut short by the DLC glitch and that character is gone so I started another character just so I could keep playing a little bit and I avoided the main quest and the strip for the most part.

Then I decided to stop playing altogether and wait because, based on the few hints we get on this forum, I guessed that the 2nd update would be released by now. Well it's not and I have used up all the patience that I possess. I'm starting a new character with which I hope to play through the entire game. I'm going to start creating this character right after I press the post button when I finish typing this.

I pray that the patch will be released before I encounter the DLC glitch with this character. Bethesda/Obsidian please hurry. Don't let my new character die a frustrating glitchy death like his father, there's still time to cure his DLC disease with a life saving update cure before his condition becomes terminal.

I have a lvl 14 i think that has done a total of 6 quests in the game. I ran around just killing mobs because I'm sure the next part "come fly with me" will ruin all the saves I have (26 saves in case you were wondering ) when completing the mission. Or at least I assume it will. Personally I'll just wait for the patch and not stress myself over this currently extremely faulty product. Haven't touched fallout new vegas in weeks and moved on till the patch. Assassins Creed Brotherhood is amazing by the way.

For those about to play we salute you

or something like that hopefully the patch will make it moot but theres a lot of good workarounds on here so maybe you get through either way

Only thing I'm worried about is DLC glitch. There's no way to work around that one.
