Anyways, I feel as if I should have come across something better by now. I like DT on armor, versus SPECIAL stat buffs. I noticed the Gun Runners has some higher end/high priced items. I just don't want to spend 3000 caps on something. I figured a quest reward/exploring would have brought me and upgrade by now. The NCR Bandoleer armor is not horrible, but I dunno.

Any thoughts sugggestions> Also, lets start a quick list of awesome/unique/high end armor in the game

i am in the same boat, level 12 using the ncr bandoleer in combat, grimey prewar bussinesswear in non combat. i want some beast armor that doesnt claim me to any side, thad be nice.

Hmm I am using at the moment PA, but before that I was with Advanced Combat Armour Mark 2 or something.
I found it in some bag, now the hard part to explain where.
I was heading north to find Vault 22, so on to my left side there were hills with very nasty flying bugs, south from the vault. There were like two places full with those. The first one had some dead human and a bag next to him with lots of stuff inside, the combat armour was there too.

You can get combat armor from the gun runner guards.

There's a wrecked caravan northeast of the NCR sharecropper farms, there should be a couple bodies with combat armor right around the bridge there.

im currently tryin to win a carvan game to buy the mk 2 combat armor from the gunrunners. lvl 14 now.

In the mission for the pilot near novak with the religious ghouls there is a spacesuit with DT 10 and a space helmet with 4 DT.

Also I just found two armor, no helmets of power armor near the hidden valley, also near black mountain. It's easy to get you just need to kil 5 or so centurions or whatever the tenticle mouth things are that hung around super mutants in FO3.

Right now level 14, i am using reinforced leather armor.

Where is camp forlorn?

This armor is located slightly SE of Ranger Station Foxtrot on the strip-side of the mountains. As mentioned, it's guarded by a couple of cazadores and young cazadores, so be prepared. Good armor though, I'm using it now.

I bought my Combat Armor Mark II at the Gun Runners for around 5500 chips, wasn't a bad deal.

Can you be more specific as to where the enclave armor is? I'm looking for it myself.

Level 26 using Reinforced Combat armor Mk. II, looks freaking silly and clips horribly on the player, but it works pretty well.
