it's good to be back :-)

i bought skyrim on day of release and loved the game (360 version).i sold my console/games in december to fund a new guitar/amp.ever since i have missed playing skyrim (as well as oblivion).i did buy a 2nd hand wii (as i have never played one before) but just couldn't get on with the motion controls (especially playing skyward sword).anyhoo to cut a long story short i just p/x'ed it for a lovely 2nd hand halo reach 360. obviously i bought skyrim/5th ann oblivion again.
it is so great to be back again
so far i have played 2 characters
the first i got up to level 10,unfortunately i got stuck in a dungeon (due to a bug/couldn't open a gate to leave after clearing it)
the second i got up to level 7-8 before getting trapped attempting the "deciphering the transmudane stone" quest. i was just too weak to fight the minions of the dwemer ruins :swear: (i'm rubbish i play on novice difficulty)
so i will be creating another character and this time remembering to save often
i plan on creating another breton crusader type character (as this is my favourite character to play in oblivion).oh and make sure i am majorly levelled up before attempting the transmute quest

thanks everyone :-) uriel nocturne i must admit to not having played much oblivion yet (am playing mostly skyrim atm).although my breton crusader is currently looking for crusader relics after finding the priory of the nine.he plans on starting with the boots of the crusader first.
am just restarting skyrim again (this time playing a female breton named aerwyn ulmarael).she is just escaping with one of the empire guards from the dragon that has just saved her skin ;-) she cannot wait to start exploring this huge land (i feel that she will also become a crusader/lawful character).

Naw, I was just making the sorry joke equating your absence from the game being like getting lost in one of the planes of Oblivion.

It was a crappy joke. I apologize.

lol

It's cool. It's more difficult than people think to properly convey some types of humor in a Forum board. ;)

More importantly and likely against all forum rules, what kind of guitar and amp did you buy?

Too bad you can't actually play any of the musical instruments found around Skyrim, or you could rp a bard and show everyone your musical talent.
