To put it bluntly: no.

None are blended well, some of the colors conflict with each other (especially on the wallpaper), and overall, it just looks unprofessional. I'd suggest using overlay layers, color dodge/burn, and varying opacity levels to create a smooth background. Search for signature/fire/wallpaper/lightning/snow/rain/whatever tutorials on Deviantart and follow them. Most are a great place to learn.

Yeah, right now those things would be better suited to being a captcha than anything else.

first one is too busy, i think; too much sameness, thin it out some. and letters i think could have been done differently, more like in the third one or maybe more towards graffiti font.

the second one look good for a starter, but i think it needs to explore more the crossfire theme(maybe with the cross hairs?) and more emphasis on red or more red and less yellow.

third one, again, something different with the letters, but i like how they have the neon sign glow thing.

last one, too much red, maybe add some black lines in the fist or the letters and the "Nosebleed" is not as easy to make our as "Records".

overall, as Orphanix said, needs to be more color smart(like, complimenting colors, like, blue and red, black and white, orange and green(i think)... and so on, i just don't know all the examples of how they). just keep at it, it will get better. the important thing is, you are trying, and that i applaud :)

oh, well, then he is happy then all is cool. still harder to make out the top word, though, so i think you can take the liberty of making it more readable and it won't hurt. :)

so... somehere deep inside of you, there is a troll?
also, I agree with that you do need more practice. IF you are in school, when it rolls back around (in the north hemisphere anyway) Take a digital design class if it is offered at your school. My friend did that and at the end, he was able to make everything from a baby chick hatching out of a planet shaped like an egg, Replace images (even I know its not that hard.), and one time, he had to make a full website using nothing but notepad and an html scripting book. it needed to have a functioning link, a picture with a link attached, without, etc. in short: try and see if your school offers anything like that.
