Is it just me or does Goodsprings give a mood that seems a bit like A Fistfull of Dollars?

I've been feeling like watching a bunch of spaghetti westerns, So maybe thats just me..

Goodsprings actually reminds me of the town in the movie Tremors.

Hmmm. Graboids in a Fallout game? Interesting...

Well with that half empty/half desolate town, bone yard where crime was done nearby and quest to save trader against bandits who pursue him, you might be right.

Indeed. I was just commenting on the resemblance to the Town of Perfection, NV in the movie. I still think graboids should be added as part of the Wild Wasteland perk. Just for the heck of it. :fallout:

I like the feeling Goodsprings gives off, a small town that keeps to itself and does'nt want any trouble with anyone.

Me, too. I always feel bad stealing all their stuff, even from the ones who don't mind. I still do it, but I feel bad. Then I sell it to Chet.

Hmmm, I wouldn't say it's like anything from the Dollars trilogy, but it definitely has a Western vibe.

A Fistfull of Dollars is about a lone gunman pitting two town bosses against each other. I don't really see any connection with Fisfull of Dollars except that its in the West, theres a cemetary (every town has one), and theres a gunfight. The town isn't even set up like an Old Western town.

Now, I can totally see a connection with The Magnifacent Seven. Mysterious stranger (you) decides to save town from bandits (Gangers) for no pay with 6 other fighters with different talents (Pete, Sunny, Trudy, Victor, Cheyenne, Ringo) to help. Theres also a direct reference (perhaps unintentional) to the film if you choose to be pessimistic with Sunny about the chance that they're going to die.

Hell YES!

P.S. Just had a thought: introducing a monster that burrows Graboid-style and can ambush you from under your feet could be an interesting development, good counter-balance to the power of long-range sniping.
