Google has some nice little things you guys may have never noticed. There are probably a bunch of them, but I've found two small, "easter eggs" if you will, so far.

The second thing, if you go to http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl and Get Directions from A (The Shire) to B (Mordor) using walking directions and pressing Get Directions will get you a nice result.

there used to be one where you type "do a barrell roll" and google would just rotate 360 degrees. doesnt seem to work for me anymore....

The Mordor one doesn't work for me.

I did the maps thing and it led me from the Shire golf course in London to Alkmaar, Holland.

You got to set it to walking directions (click the little man icon). Also, be sure to read the contents of the yellowish orange box (under the big blue GET DIRECTIONS button).

It's not technically on Google, but it IS owned by Google... If you hold down the left arrow key on any Youtube video, then press up while still holding it, you can play Snake.

It worked for me. Make sure you have walking directions selected and not driving directions.

EDIT:

Oh, it's working now. Didn't work before. Just gave me directions from London to some other place.

oh, I got it now. i selected walk after typing it in, I think that was screwing it up.

Type in "Find Chuck Norris". Then hit the I'm feeling lucky button.
