Got a couple of problems (freezing issue, landscape modifica

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 1:00 pm

Hi I've just got a couple of problems with my mod, first off after a few minutes of playing the game freezes, although the game doesn't seem to stop working according to the task manager. This has been happening since I added NPCs into the level but I don't know why they are making the game crash :s

Second I modified some of the landscape, deleted some things and added some objects but when I go to the place in game one of the objects doesnt show up and a couple of things I deleted are still there.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I had a similar issue when I tried adding a house to Riverwood. The exterior of the house disappeared except for the stairs I'd put in. I already moved on to another mod and figured I'd fix the issue when I was ready. I'd like an answer to this as well.

I wouldn't expect any help if I posted - "My car won't start, what's wrong with it ?"

You have given absolutely no information regarding the mod you have made, other mods that you're running, what the symptoms are, your system spec,...varios other titbits of information.

Does it happen in the same place ?
Can it happen anywhere ?
Does it happen if you start a fresh game ?
Does it happen if you disable all other mods ?
Does it happen if you go to a certain area ?...
...etc

Desribe in detail everything you can about the problem, not, "My car won't start, what's wrong with it ?"

I had an issue where Skyrim would freeze if my mod was loaded. I restarted my computer and the problem went away. I'm not saying this is your problem, but hell its Windows, right?

Sure whatever details you need. It happens anywhere in the level seemingly, though it crashes at different times to others. Although I think theres one especially problematic NPC (thinking about it now I'll see if diabling him does anything, probably not though, I may have had the issue beforehand). I've had this happen with a new character and my level 50 one. I've not tried disabling any other mods, didnt really think to, I mean it shouldnt conflict at all with these other mods and it only started happening once I added in NPCs.

Happens every time, and my PC gets turned off every night
