Got 3 parts of my mod.. How do I merge them or do everything

Post » Mon Jun 18, 2012 8:54 am

So I got this little hideout I'm making. I made the island and decorated it and gone IG to see how it looks. It looks great. So that was the 1 file. Now I added the interior to the hideout to a new file by loading the Majashideout.esp trough File -> Data... Majashideout.esp checked - >OK. I noticed that I weren't editing the Majashideout.esp file but making a new "mod" with the current .esp loaded. So How do I do everything on 1 file? I only want Majashideout on 1 file not 3 like I got now. Majashideout.esp (Island), Majashideout1(Interior).esp, Majashideout.esp2 Decoration). What I do now is basicly add a new .esp after every check in Skyrim. So how do I merge them all into 1 or edit my main island file?

If/when TES5Edit arrives, I'd use it to merge plugins. Currently, there's not really a way, so you might want to plan around that and keep stuff in one file if it's to be fused eventually.

If you want, UL/link the three parts and I can try with FO3Edit, then UL/link the result.

You can manually merge plugins with TesSnip

But how do I keep them all in 1 esp without any extra programs or what so ever. There has to be a way as there are these guys that got uge mods in the workshop but in 1 file :/ I'm pretty sure they were going back and forth to CK and Skyrim to see if it worked

Gives me a funky error when I select any esp (even others) :/

Are you using TesVSnip (skyrim edition)?

If I'm getting your question, generally if you make a esp in the CK, all you have to do is reload the same esp again and set it as the active file when loading to make it so any more changes save in it as well.

You don't, unless you keep it all in one plugin to begin with.

That's the answer I was looking after! Thanks!
