I've got 1.5 patch, should I update?

I have a dilemma. Although I've selected that Skyrim should only update when I ask it to, for some reason now it's got "update automatically selected". I've got Steam in offline mode, so now I've still got the 1.5 patch, but were I to go online, it'd try to update. And I tried clicking and changing it, but it still stays on the automatic update, it won't change. Now I've heard the 1.6 patch had some minor issues, right? At least the beta one. Should I worry or just let it update? Are there any unfixed bugs it would bring me?

So far I've encountered almost none, both of which were tied to disappearing textures and a person, which were fixed by resting or reloading.

Do you use the 1.00 version of the Unnoficial Skyrim Patch? If so, I would hold off.

Do you use a lot of mods? There are some animation mods that don't properly function anymore, along with killmoves. Scripts were also recompiled with the 1.6.89 patch, so it can cause a few issues.

Do you really want horse combat? It's a nice option, but the novelty of it wears off quickly.

Were I you, I would postpone updating until the next patch... Or once Dawnguard is released.

Not if theres nothing in 1.6 you need, or need for a mod to work. Horse combat is "cool" for a minute or so, thats about it. But if you go online with Steam at all you wont have a choice because Steam is a horrible and invasive service that ignores your settings and forces updates on you :D
