Got spoilered, I have one question

Post » Thu May 26, 2011 11:24 pm

You know when you're randomly skipping through an otherwise non spoilery forum and your eyes fall upon something you didn't want to read...then your heart sinks when you realise some malicious idiot has decided to try and spoil the ending for as many people as they can. :gun:

Anyway, what I read doesn't really ruin the game but it's bugging me like hell, so for anyone who's seen or read about what happens at the end, I have a question, spoiler tags incoming.

Spoiler
Hoover Dam gets destroyed, no matter which faction you support, is this true?

I'm in the UK so I've got the whole week to stew on this before I get the game, a simple yes or no would put my mind at ease.

Thanks.

EDIT: SPOILER BELOW.

I think what is true is that we have the option to destroy Hoover Dam.

Click on the 'Other styles' drop down box and select 'Spoiler', that will bring up a box you can type the spoiler in.

Hope you're right though :violin:

As it has been confirmend that you can't continue play after the completion of the game, I would imagine it to be somthing major like you mentioned in your spoiler tag.

The source is dubious, I would take it with a grain of salt. It's not spoiled because you have no idea whether or not it will happen.

That's the attitude I should take, it's just going to be a bit harder to resist ploughing through the main quest now :sadvaultboy:
