I got thrown away for the first time

Ancient Dragon Just swooped down and picked me up for a throw no save. How could a Dovakhiin be made to tolerate such domination?

I thought this was going to be about jail, but anyway- yes, more health or running away are good options!

I love it when a Dragon takes you with his mouth and throws you around like a rag doll. Reminds me of Jurassic Park.

I like it when it takes others, not me particularly. It's never actually happened to me anyway but I've seen it happen to guards a few times as well as Faendal. Poor Faendal.

As far as I know its instant death. So no, you can't protect yourself against that.

But everyone hates Faendal. I had to kill him actually considering that I married Camilla from Riverwood and we moved into Proudspire Manor- only to find that a few days later he was walking away from my house in Solitude when I arrived...

Zipping up his pants? : (
I didn't kill him, but I did help out Sven over him.

I hate lots of NPC's in Skyrim, but the world always feels a little bit more empty when they aren't there. I'd even feel slightly sad if Nazeem (I [censored] hate Nazeem) died.

Faendal trained me in Archery...no complaints

And goodness, Ancient dragons are strong. One took out a mammoth and a Giant before coming to fight me

it is very cool to watch those kinds of fight. The Giant with his ground stomping and club slammed the head of the dragon but then fell on his knees when dragon fire poured out of that head

His mammoth helped with his tusks but went down as well...then the Dragon turned and came for the Dovakhiin

The Dovakhiin then opened fire....Storm Call

I hadn't experienced being tossed around by a dragon until recently. I guess they get tougher as you level, eh? It happened by the same dragon three times in a row before I finally found the right tactic to defeat him. Now I'm smart enough to keep my distance, unless he's distracted...at which point I'll save some arrows and chop at his tail...

I so far haven't found too many shouts that are particularly effective against dragons of any sort.

I got tossed around by a Dragon, after his head glitched through the very rock that I was hiding behind to not get attacked from his frost breath. Next thing I know I can't move, I'm behind a rock and the dragon goes through an extreme glitch and half his head is through a rock, glitched and he throws me around while head is through rock.

Indeed. It's a dragon killcam, after all. As far as the game is concerned, you were dead before he even bit you.

I agree...even Storm Call. One would think that with that massive cooldown it would do more damage
