Got a Treasure map ? : V

I picked up a treasure map ? And have no clue where in all of Skyrim it is pointing at ? There are many towers with hills behind them. Anyone ealse get one of these ?

All the treasure maps I've seen have at least one location marked by name so that you can find the general area. After that, look at the minor details.

Hang on to it, there are 10 of them, and you can't access the treasure unless you have the map in inventory. uesp wiki.....

There's 6/7 altogether. Just do a bit of exploring, and keep the map on your person.

Cool thank you. Because this piece has no writting on it . Just a kid style drawn map. Not sure where I even picked it up ? May have been off some body in a cave ?

They are found all over the place. Some are loot, some are on desks or tables.

i found bout 7 on my first play through, and heard their were 10 or 12 of them.

I found one very easy, a couple had no names or specific enough landmarks for me to decipher. One or two I swear to god just weren't where the X marked lol.

I've found Treasure Map III in 2 different playthroughs and have yet to find the actual treasure. The other 5 or so that I've run across all panned out.

The treasure should be in the hold that you found the map in. That may make it easier to find. Cheat if you give up.

I've found the chest there every time I've had the map. I do think you have to open the map before it populates though....

You also need to start a new game or have a game started after the 1.3 patch (I think that's the one that fixed the treasure chests). On old playthroughs, if you've already found the map, the treasure chest won't show up.
