Hi.

I decided to dust off Skyrim today after a few months of not playing it. I can't play it though, due to some graphic glitches that I'm hoping someone here can help me with.

I did not have any glitches previously when I played. I have updated my driver via steam and via the driver itself since I noticed these new glitches, but it hasn't done much.

What changed? What can I do?

(I'm not very good with computers, so if anyone can offer advice, please bear that in mind)

Backdate your video drivers a version or two. (roll back.) See what happens.

As stupid as this sounds I recommend checking the display card for dust, those kinds of anomalies can be caused by overheating.

Hmm. No luck. I rolled back the driver, uninstalled the driver, reinstalled the driver, and now I'm out of ideas. I actually got a load of dust out the computer a month or so ago, so it's probably alright on that front.

After a bit of research, it appears to be a common bug that came with the 1.5 patch or something. Good times.
