Graphics problems on the 360

Post » Sat Jul 14, 2012 2:09 pm

I recently succumbed to pressure and bought Skyrim. After playing it a while, I've noticed that the graphics are particularly bad when you look at something up close, like something out of a messed up JPG. Is there any kind of fix for this? I'm running the game off the disk. I'm playing with a HDMI cable at 1080p res. I'd really appreciate any help. I can provide more information if needed.

Thanks!

Sometimes some textures, especially grounds are slow to load into their proper res texture, often making it look like some PS1 quality stuff.

But besides that, some textures in the game aren't that great.

Try installing it...the graphics will look better playing off the hard drive but it still won't fix the problem, but hey thats better than nothing .

I'm pretty sure it's normal game textures you're talking about. You'd have been much more blunt with your words if the actual texture wasn't loading right at all, trust me.

It's really not too bad, unless you roleplay as an archaeologist or something...then you might have a bad time.
