I believe there is something wrong with the textures. When I get in game it looks like the graphics haven't finished loading and is extremely pixelated. I haven't been able to play for more than about 15 minutes as my eyes are straining too much trying to create a stable, non-blurry image.

Edit: Yes I did download the update.

I havent experienced any lag, but the graphics looks horrible. I tried my other games out and they look just fine, Brink is the only one experiencing visual troubles. I have to wonder if its because of the update? or merely initial software problems. Either way, a solution asap would be fantastic..as I'm a bit irked by this.

I tried both pre-patch and post-patch. I even installed the game and got the same crappy graphics.

Really? Then what could the issue be..? My friend has the game and it looks just fine for him. And I'm working with a 1080p television.

I use a 24" Asus 1080p computer monitor and all of my xbox games look perfect on it. Brink however is a giant mess. I went downstairs to my friends apartment and checked it out on his 42" LCD and the textures aren't as badly noticed (probably due to the fact that you sit further away from the screen). But when you look at textures up close you notice that they take a few seconds to load instead of already being loaded prior to the game starting. Sometimes the textures load and then unload (weird) when you walk away and come back to look at it again, and sometimes they just don't even load at all.

There's nothing you can do. It's the game itself.

Found a link to this review on another forum. Looks like they were aware of this problem long before the game was released.

That's actually a technique first used by nVidia to save resources by not rendering things you are not looking at. The trick being that it's supposed to load up before you center on it. Unfortunately it isn't doing that. I would not mind this if there weren't random green pixels on some textures. I still can't figure that out.

Yeah the graphics seem to look low resolution. I play the game on a 40" 1080p TV with HDMI. Wonder if they had to scale the graphics down for performance? Hope they can boost up the res and get better online performance. Such a great game, still playable to me when it doesnt lag!
