Grass on object surface

Hi there,

As you probably already noticed there are several static meshes (such as RockShelf02_FieldGrass01) that use a texture which uses a certain landscape texture. I'm currently creating a plains area and those objects look out of place, because, even though they use the FieldGrass01-Texture, I couldn't find a way to place grass on them. I tired creating a custom tree object so I can drag and drop the grass manually, but that doesn't work since the grass.nifs cannot be placed alone.

Do you have any ideas how to make this work?

Thanks in advance,

Latiro

What I've used in Skyrim (and Fallout 3 before it) was simply just raise the land very close to the ground texture on the rock shelfs, then paint grass textures underneath. The grass shows through just fine.
