Great game, but not happy with certain things ingame

Not trying to down Skyrim, it is a great game, don't get me wrong. But what I found to start becoming an annoyance is forced quests. What I mean is quests that can not be avoided no matter how hard you try. Most are just strolling into a town, or showing up on any sights in the game world, also just walking through towns, and catching an NPC conversation with another NPC, your map will be updated, and can not disabaned, any of these FORCED quests.

Examples are:(but many more to list)
You walk into a town and someone forces a note on you.
You talk to one NPC, that sends you to another NPC, and the other NPC force quests on you, in the total opposite direction of which direction you plan to go in Skyrim(Delphine to Brynolf is a good example, and town guard to kid is another example)

The game lacks of player direction far to much. At any given time, one player will have several different quests, for several different reputations. One can not focus on one goal at all. I should not be forced in guilds if I choose not to, such as the theifs guild, Dark brotherhood, companions, imperials, stormcloaks, etc, etc. Or be forced to work for the Deadric, or the Dawn, or even the forsworn, or the mage guild if i do not want to.

Skyrim, truely shines if default sets you to Ultra Settings, but if you have any mods installed, then you HAVE to lower your settings down some if you decide to use a mod, or you will get uncotrollable stuttering, especially around streams, and in snowstorms. If you are by streams in a snowstorm, with a mod installed, your game is unplayable if your default is set to ultra high, and you are running a mod. So then I am FORCED to lower my settings, just to run a mod if I want to run one? Not sure when mods for skyrim effect games performance, but mods for Fallout New vegas, does not effect games performance?

Thanks for reading

Different strokes for differnt folks.

The very factor that is annoying to you is one of the features of the program that I like the most.
It is really nice to get numerous quests that you are not specifically hunting for because down the road you can decide which quest line interests you the most and chase after it.

I have always disliked having to hunt far and wide to find quests or, alternatively, to be stuck with just one quest line that you can't get past.

I don't understand. Do you have OCD or something? A quest is in your quest list. So what! Don't do it if you don't want to.
If mods slow down your comp maybe it's time to invest in a new comp or upgrade it. Or maybe your running a poorly made mod. Couldn't say. I'm on a 360.
