Great game, fun way to play

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:50 pm

I've tried to stay away from the forums as much as possible, and just relax and enjoy the experience. I can say that i'm 100% satisfied, and coming off of a game like oblivion it was a real surprise!

I never did play Morrowind, but i have been meaning to, and Skyrim was a chance to take my time and pace myself.

I've picked up a new play style where instead of fast traveling everywhere, grinding levels, and glitching my way to 1,000,000 soul gems, I've began walking from Solitude to say Whiterun, and spreading my perks to enjoy as many aspects of the game as i can.

Part of that is because of this community, and i thank you all for that, I've finally learned how to just enjoy a game. I was never really critical, but i always rushed through like i had to beat it. I've realized that this game is meant to be played for hundreds of hours, but whether or not you want it to is up to you.

So if you do fast travel or grind levels and things like that, you can continue doing that by all means, but I've found greater happiness in taking long walks around mountains and watching giants try to catch butterflies. It's a really great game and has a few cool things you won't find in any other game. I don't feel as rushed either in Skyrim, and there is a lot more content to enjoy.

Hope you all have enjoyed the game as much as i have!

Yes, Lets do our best to create an even bigger them & us culture on this forum, Sigh.

Skyrim is a great game & i have a lot of fun playing it, Skyrim encouranges slow paced gameplay & Bethesda have done a great job in creating a world suited to this style.

Yes it is the best way to play the game !!! Relax & Enjoy
I'll walk up a path or an open area along a mountain, just to see where it goes. or if I can find a short cut thru the mountains instead of going around them  and YES it usually takes me twice as long to get there LOL but I'm in no hurry.
I've seen many beautiful places & scenic views... I've taken a lot of screen shots of them.
I really need to upload them somewhere and post links to them, in the Scenic Views Thread.
Glad people are taking there time & enjoying the many cool and unknown thinks & areas of this amazing game world.
