So I'm on the PC, and I really like the opening picture, where you see the silouhette overlooking from the mountains before you start the game. I don't know if that's an actual spot in game, but I wanted to find a cool place to show off my character. With the mods I've got, I'm pretty happy with how I got him to look, but haven't found any nice locations for it, aside from Sovngarde... and well, I won't be going there for another while.

Suggestions?

But for cool places...I like going to the Reach. Or take profit of High Hrotgar' interior illumination.

It's (the opening picture) Bleak Falls Barrow on the left, the river in the middle, etc. I've done some images myself trying to find the good spot.

As other mentioned, it's Bleak Falls Barrow on the left. The only way to get the same angle as that shot your referring to is to console a free cam. You could plop your guy on a small mountaintop that will get you close to that angle, but you'll have to toggle clipping to get your character there. I just did this a second ago:

Edit: Oh snap, I did that from memory (I launch the game via SKSE), and I just had a look at the http://i.imgur.com/IlKX3.jpg, (I circled in red where my character in the previous shots is standing). Lemme see if I can get this shot better...

By "the spot" do you mean the actual intro spot, or just the spot as in a cool one?
