ok first off if u are a gun totein mastermind u may not like this, but then again part of it can help if u want to get ur guns bak. First off ur S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attributes: strength = 10 perception = 1 endurance = 10 charisma = 1 intelligence = 1/5* agility = 1/5* luck = 10
make sure ur tagged skills are medicine, melee, and repair.
* means u get to decide wat u truly want to do

after you get the attributes this way do the tutorial and quest in goodsprings so you can make your way to new vegas, when u reach novac make sure u look around for different ppl for u never kno who might be around
by this time u should have close or exactly 100 melee weapons skill within just a few mins of playing and some good melee weapons and armor. Head for New Vegas and break the banks (this is where luck comes in bc u win 99% of the time) giving you 42,000 caps total, and there you have it the best start out character.



(Aftermath) now guntoters i got your final wishes, see the agility how its 1/5? if you make it 5 u have just enough to shoot up ppl and u can use intense training to get it to 10.
science ppl do same but for intelligence, also good for more skill points in long run.

People tend to agree with you better if you use proper grammer.

If you want to break the bank at a casino you can get away with 7 or 8 luck. It's really hard to lose at those levels. Also, playing Caravan early on is a great money-maker.

Why would I want to start "playing" the game when I'm extremely wealthy?
I like having to work for my money, no fun when I can buy whatever I want to from the get go.

But anyway, to reach Vegas fast:
1. Go to sloan.
2. Move carefully along the road to the right side of it.
3. Keep zooming in towards the exit towards Vegas or towards the quarry's direction to keep lookout for deathclaws.
4. Once you go past Neils shack then run as fast as you can along the right side of the rode up the cliffs and move along them until you no longer is chased by deathclaws.
5. Go to Vegas.

You can reach Vegas at lvl 1 this way.

srry about grammer but i tend to like fast typing, and yes its probably not fun getting your caps but you dont really play just to find caps am i right? you play for blood guts and mission storylines =P

I play games for the challenge they might bring.
Finding caps to keep my gear in line and stocking up on medical supplies is all part of the challenge.
Of course there are a lot of other things I play games for as well but the main reason is to be presented with a challenge which I then wish to overcome.

ok well i just wanted to try this kinda of character out and if u were playing hardcoe and didnt kno exactly wat to do it would be a great way to get going and not have to worry about troubles of starvation and thirst

Grammar isn't something you really should worry about. I found out recently that people from all over the world (who have different native languages) post in these forums, so at least I'm willing to cut you some slack. It does make it easier to read however and it took me a while to understand what you were saying.

I had to read it slowly to be honest but I get what he was saying. It's just his guide to starting the game easily, which would work for the most part... It's just not how I would do it.

Basically you would start out needing no weapons other than a melee one. You would also be able to get levels and skill points fairly quickly by heading to New Vegas following storyline. Like i say to a lot of things, don't noc it til you try it. (fixed grammar somewhat)

Nor I. Based on my understanding of what that start method appears to be all about, If I were going to use it at all I'd go about it as follows:

1: Start new character

2: Open console

3: type "player.additem f 50000" (Give yourself 50,000 caps to buy anything and everything you want right off the bat)

4: Get on with it.

Grammar and spelling aren't the same thing. He technically used the correct grammar; he just spelled grammar incorrectly.

Ok im talking about xbox players as well, mainly ur also playing the game.

Nope. I understood the point he was trying to make. He was cutting down someone who was cutting someone else down. I really don't see the point in doing that though. Much akin to pointing out grammar errors.

To be technical, they both botched the points they were trying to make. One criticized the OP for grammar and the other mistook spelling for grammar. In the end, they both just ended up looking slightly uneducated.

You could make a high melee, high sneak character, go directly to the store in town and buy a shovel, and then head north and west to Chance's Grave to get his knife.

You'd be set for a while then.

It is so powerful early game it out performs spiked knuckle before you reach skill requirement.

Then you have Rebar Club which you need a power fist to out perform it......
