The lack of media and information given out to the gaming community, is just making me grow further away from Brink.
In the beginning, I was extremely interested about this game. But now, jeez, you've lost another follower, sorry.
Nothing is being released, and my patience is up. A week ago gameplay videos were being released on youtube of Brink from Eurogamer.
So they go on, and take all the videos down, nice move -_-.

Sorry guys, I'm now following other games who RELEASE CONTENT.

Seriously though there's only so much that they can release, if they're just polishing at this point then no new information is really being generated. It is a little dissapointing but not really surprising. I expect that well see you again around launch time, or even online. Goodbye for now. :wavey:

As a game gets closer to gold and subsequent release, less minor information is released. Most of the new information will be in one or two major announcements, or will be after release.

The game is still months away. If they kept feeding us information at the rate they had been we'd know everything about Brink before it even came out. I can understand not following it very closely anymore though. When you stop hearing anything new you naturally lose interest and just go back to more fruitful pursuits. That's one of ther reasons I don't post very much myself. I still keep my ear to the ground though, if you know what I mean. :wink_smile:

Its not that bad here... when I recall hl2 episode 3 that had no news at all and everyone knows it will come out eventually
Crytek makes it look like they release something - but its all old stuff that was seen long ago and still no PC videos/screens which pisses off so many ppl hehe

I don't see how this stops you from buying the game when it's released and playing it then.

lol, your just saying it so maybe a beta or something will come out and ruin the game experience on the first few days which is what i look forward to. The developers have showed me all i need to see, and i know im going to buy it. Youve said, youve seen this stuff and you liked it, but you need more? it dosnt make sense to me

We're a cheap and easy way for them to market their game, if they're not saying something its because they have noting good or interesting to say about their game, or are expecting a bad announcement to come soon, exactly when they would want less attention on their game, aka less info and interest needs to be garnered from fans, because it would spread the bad news quicker.

The games been delayed, apparently twice, so it's understandable they've slowed down with the whole 'hey here's a gameplay video' stuff. Though it would be nice if you know, the fifth dev diary made it onto PSN sometime soon. -.-;

I said goodbye, that doesn't mean that I wont check the forums every now and then for updates.

I think it is just the timing, it is early, and Brink seems more like a silent killer of big names. The less you know of it, the more it peaks your intrest, the sooner you want it to come out. ya know? I personally, have the game preordered in full. No looking back. This game, is gonna kill all the games coming out that month. I have a serious feeling after Black Ops Release, they are going to put a mad push on adverstiment, information, and gameplay. Seriously man, just hold in there.
