Apparently R* are releasing GTA III on certain Android and iOS devices. Annoyingly it looks like it won't be available for my iPod touch, but I should be able to get it on my Asus. I find it amazing that handheld technology has progressed far enough that you can play a modern GTA game on the bus. Hopefully if it sells well they might port Vice City, too - I'm guessing San Andreas is too big for handhelds, still.

Android?? How on earth will that run on anything but very top-of-the-line phones? Mine barely runs Starfox for the SNES.

edit: Posted this before I read the article, and it looks like it is only available for the best phones.

I'm not sure why it only runs on the newest iOS devices, I didn't know the iPhone 4S/iPad 2 had any better hardware.
