Guards you need to sort out your priorities.

So picture this scenario..

A dragon attacks Falkreath as I wander in, I join with the guards to attack the dragon. Halfway through the fight the dragon lands. I pull out my trusty battleaxe and the guards draw swords, I use the Thu'um on the dragon to stun it, fus ro.

Accidentally catch one guard on the very edge of the shouts affected area, suddenly all the guards turn their attention to me and attack, whilst the dragon is right next to them.

This is ridiculous, they have to give some leeway on things like this. If stormcloaks/imperials take over a city, the guards allow a few hits before they become hostile, it should always be like this.

Until we all turn to toast and then you're free to act.

Even better.. if you sheathe your weapons, they'll likely attempt the "arrest"... while the dragon is casually munching on their friends, family, townsfolk, livestock, dogs, cats, mice, moose, rabbits....anything that might be close by... which includes you. :D

I never use any area attack where a guard/NPC might be.
