guilty pleasures

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 6:27 pm

I play a good karma guy, which is why this is out of charater for me.
I like to head into the fiends area at night with the rat slayer every now and then. Now I know a good guy should not be looking for people to kill but the area is just too perfect for a sniper. You have ruins, multi levels and many targets. I go alone, usally don't loot and try to get back to the Lucky 38, where I have my compainions wait, before dawn.
I empty my inventory 'cept for my light armor, the slayer and about 50 rounds of ammo. Its like a mini game for me now that I'm banned from the casinos.

I love killing NPC's for random reasons. Don't like the voice, they insulted me or they looked at me funny

I like to sneak one-shot kill NPCs that annoy me. Especially when I am "green-lighted" to kill the NPC for a quest. The dealer in Freeside? Blew his head off. I'm sure I could've diplomatically handled the quest with some dialogue but it was just too much fun putting a bullet in him. Man, I love the scoped hunting rifle.

I also love stealing things, mainly because I've noticed it pisses Boone off. I love that guy. I jack a bunch of stuff I look at him and he is looking at me all types of mad, gritting his teeth.

I love going through cazador canyon with as little as possible on me and try to fight my way to the other side.

Oh and no matter who it is I need to press the A button on every generic NPC I walk past so that they start their dialogue thing.

II like to roll severed heads down hills.. even set up bowling lanes with heads and soda bottles...

I like to punch crusified powder gangers in the nerts.

I like to load up a save before the goodspringd battle plant 20-30 mines of various types and just watch the gangers blow up again and again. Why arnt there incindiary mines? That would be epic.

I like to shoot violet in the butt. You can get such funny death cams shooting people in the butt.

I like to whack geckos with sledgehammers.

I like to shoot the lottery winner while hes waving at me. He looks soo happy... BLAM!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like to watch/follow the lottery winner and see him get eaten by a radscorpion.

After doing the Booted quest I like to chop off Boxcars legs. Bet you'd rather have those hammers now, eh smart @zz! Teach you to talk nasty to me after I give lots of Med-X.......

Reverse pickpocketing grenades or mines into peoples pants.

Getting into melee combat with Andrea Bocelli's "Mama" playing in the background. It is so surreal to watch the heads fly in slow motion with that song playing.

I steal everything. It's much more enticing when I have to find a way to do it with the owner standing right there.

Indeed. I got angry that the Van graffs would not sell me a Plasma caster, so in the end, I hid, and stole it as they were not looking. I then nonchalantly proceeded to walk out of the store, and then fired it off into the air outside in happiness.

Slipping live frag grenades into the pockets of random passers-by. Especially on the Strip.

Oh, and: dropping some C4 on the ground, piling up a bunch of dead bodies on top of it, then seeing which corpse get chucked the furthest when I detonate my people-bomb.

And and: sneak attacks with a power fist.

Taking on the large clumps of Deathclaws (not the quarry) with 3+ human companions while I sit back behind a boulder laughing as one by one they whine "I could use a doctor" "Can't feel all my limbs" "Can't feel my wounds" "cough/gasp" etc. It's hilarious.

More legitimately....fiends. I love killing fiends. I don't know why, since it doesn't take long before they're cannon fodder, but I just love taking them apart. Maybe it's because of the things they exclaim while attacking or failing an attack.

Everytime i see a dead body i can't help myself, it's my ''serial-killer trademark'':

1) put the body on it's back (face up).
2) spread the arms and legs like the vitruvian man.
3) cut off limbs and head.
4) Carefully remove the torso so the limbs stay in place and hide the torso somewhere out of sight.

People who will find the victim will always find a torso-less CSI-scene xD

I'm lvl 30 now, have been for a quite a while - found Nipton around lvl 6.. healed that moaning idiot Boxcars, over the weeks I've listened to his ranting and overall bit-chiness.. but last night, his endless complaining just got on my nerves - I whipped out my 357 revolver+ and shot him to pieces, head, arms and legs - dang, that felt so good and whatya know I gained karma for destroying that git..

Life Is Good!!

Count me in as another happy Fiend-killer. They are very much like raiders and it's nice to play in an environment that's so reminiscent of Fallout 3. Besides, these guys are evil and it doesn't go against my typically good karma characters.

This is not so much a guilty pleasure as it is a compulsion: I feel compelled to run through all dialogue options for every character I meet. It doesn't matter that I've played the game before or that I choose an option only to skip through the lines; I just have to see the dialogue option greyed out in the end.

Positioning bodies after death.
I just can't help myself, sometimes if I have two bodies with heads missing I make it look like the people were joined at the neck!

Also grabbing the bodies and swinging them into things, pretending to bash them up.

Killing the tour guide in REPCONN Headquarters :)

Seriously, doesn't anyone hate that Mr. Handy like I do? It makes me so mad because it just talks about how the same residue that destroyed the world is our only salvation!

I remember when I killed him one time, I made a save right after I did it too, I shot him with the plasma rifle you get in the Very Hard locked door and completely melted the thing. I loaded the save back up and it looked like he'd re-built himself out of the plasma

I love to assassinate people, Dark Brotherhood Oblivion style. I'll sometimes plan assassinations of authority figures in the different factions and then see if I can get away with it without losing reputation.

Oh, and I also love to kill any Prospectors or Merchants I happen to find in the Wastes just for the hell of it.
