Gunmar's armour

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 6:28 am

I really liked the look of Gunmar's sleeveless Dawnguard light armour from the start of the DLC, and I got some for myself and I wear it quite often. I noticed recently that one of the Dawnguard recruits, a Nord woman called Ingjard, wears light armour of the same colour but with sleeves. Does anyone know if this is a different style of light armour, or if it is simply the female version of Gunmar's armour?

Its the one with the single shoulder pauldron too, right? If we're thinking about the same thing the 'different' armor is the blue-ish colored one. :)

Picture Gunmar's reddish-coloured armour without sleeves, then add the sleeves that Isran has on his. It's pretty much like that. There are no pauldrons on Ingjard's armour. I suspect it's just the female version of the style that Gunmar uses.

Hrm. Possibly! Try buying the other colors, though. Could be it. Or, if anything you could save and kill her to see if it looks the same on you.

I might just end up doing that. I still always feel guilty though...

I sometimes take Bethesda games too seriously.

xD Well good luck finding it. That is, if it exists for males.

Yep, tried it, just the female version. Ingjard was disappointingly easy to kill. Remind me never to have her as a follower when I go fighting vampires.

:o Noted. I can only assume all of them are equally easy to kill. Except Isran. He's a baws.

Isran is pure nails. He's carved out of wood. Unfortunately he never really fights with you, and just hangs around the fort grumbling and scowling.

It only adds to his awesome-ness. I kinda want to make a vampire character now just to do the side quests and eventually kill him :D

Aye, he'd give you a decent fight. They should add another part to that side-quest, where you defeat the Dawnguard then take it upon yourself to actually clean up all the cobwebs from the fort, and maybe add some nice furniture and a few rugs. And a pot plant or two.

Definitely. The Dawnguard are cool and righteous and all that, but they take themselves too seriously. Once a week they should have a silly hat day or something.

I'd pay to see Isran participate.

The armour just looks different on females. I bought the reddish looking set and it's sleeveless on me but has sleeves on Lydia.
