It's a forum with thousands of users... the only members I'd remember by name are some of the Morrowind modders, and the moderators.

Not here in CD, many of us know each other by name, and even in the Fallout and TES sections the regulars are easily remembered.

So, what do I do when I don't know the E-Mail of my main account?

I haven't been on this one in, like, a year.

Perhaps a mod can get you in touch with one.

Alternatively, just search the members list and filter for admins and then PM one of them.

Hopefully we can get an update later that tells us excatly who did this. I'm not worried about other sites that I'm on, that's why you use a different password for each one so that if one falls you aren't screwed.

Eh. The one good thing out of this is that it's given me a reason to stop using the same two passwords everywhere and switch over to random-character passwords.

They weren't exactly terribly easy to guess, but the new ones will (hopefully) be harder, not to mention they're different for each place. All written down on a piece of paper in my wallet and kept in a notepad document in a secret place on my PC that nobody will ever find (porm folder  :P ) just in case.

It will take some time getting used to seeing that every time I see an argonian...
Edit: I also remember you, Mexican Candy! You had a GLaDOS avatar, correct?

I think I like this set up better, no more avatars! I *dislike* some people's avatars, but I won't name them specifically out of fear for my safety.

If you like this set up better I have good news for you :P There is actually a way to disable the avatars on these forums.

Press the settings button to the right of your inbox, you will find three tabs called "Settings", "Forums" & "Profile", go into the "Forums" tab and under "Board Preferences" you should be able to check-off "View members' avatars when reading topics?".

Just good to know for when the avatars come back.
