I had to laugh

Ok you know that ruin (can't remember the name) that has an empty chest in front of a word of power wall, but in front of it is a trap door into which you fall and end up in a cage with a necromancer outside it gloating that he's caught another mug? Well, I fell for it the first time of course, but in my 3rd run (missed it the 2nd) I came across it again, and managed to find the alternate safe route down to his lair.

And I find him, pacing and circling the cage looking upwards and saying things like "Come on, go to the treaure chest, you know you want what's inside it......" and other phrases similar. Quite funny, but after killing him I approached the cage closer and imagine my surpise as I look up and the trap doors open and someone falls in lmfao.

Alright maybe it's a case of "You had to be there" but I just thought it was well done, they didn't have to have him circling the cage saying those comments, they could have just had him stand in front of the cage motionless regardless of whether you get to him the safe route or not. Neither the victim falling in, just adds to the realism.

Same thing happened to me in that ruin, cept I Fus-Ro-Dah'd him while he was gloating. Genius then decides to UNLOCK the cage to attack me with a dagger.

My fav is still guard in Whiterun during Iruleth's speech before the first Dragon..... If you're close enough to hear him he leans over and says... "we're all gonna die".

Close second is Orc Bandit Leader who says after he kills you... "boy, the way somepeople leave their trash around... and they call me a barbarian...".

I am getting surprised more and more with the way your followers behave when enlisted to the Blades. I've seen Lydia, and recently even Erik The Slayer stand guard at the entrance of Sky Haven Temple, and Lydia suddenly attack Delphine with the battle music and all, only to discover they were actually training. And the stray dog I lead there is still residing there, every now and then greeted with a "Stupid Dog" from one of my followers. ^^

IIRC, the first time I was there on so low level that the cage wasn't locked to begin with! :D I fell to his trap, watched him gloat for a while, then opened the unlocked door and killed him. :I

He does gloat, but then he always unlocks the cage and attacks you with a dagger. Not clever when I'm armed with a great sword, pretty much a one sided battle.

Just one more thing to love about this game!! Awesome story.

I had a similar cool experience in this dungeon. After I got out, killed him and had looted to my heart's content I was walking past the cage about to leave and had a jump moment when an Orc bandit fell in from above. After I recovered I got to loot the Orc too.

Sometimes it is not funny at all. Two days ago did I sneak my way into a cave, trying not to get anyone's attention, killed the guards only with sneak-attacks and did the whole stealth thing. Then I made a mistake pretty close to an arch necromancer and he takes notices of me. My face melted and I felt the trouble coming my way. The arch necromancer runs towards me, searching for me, triggers a trap in the floor, gets slammed by a big, spiked door and is dead. I stood there, after all the sneaking, and hated myself for having made such an effort.

Rannveig's Fast. It has ghosts wandering around outside it with lots of steps up to a ruin. It's kinda South of Morthal in the mountains. The Shout is for Kyne's Peace (my favorite).

After I got out of that dungeon I encountered a vampires thrall shouting HELP...VAMPIRE! VAMPIRE! When I reach her it was a trick and the Volkihar vamp she was thralled to comes up out of no-where and they both attack pmsl.

Kicked myself for falling for that one as well.
