Had to restart my game...

Post » Wed Jun 20, 2012 2:24 pm

Due to my PS3 dying on me when i was level 35 and quite far along in my game and having no way of getting my old save game back i have started again, this gave me a chance to do things properly second time around and put a few things high on my priority list such as,

Get a house to store things and make sure i seperate things into their own draws/chests
Get a few decent full dragon shouts

What tips have you got that you think could help me restarting, any places i should go early on to help me?

If you started again would you do much differently to your current game?

Lyttle, which kind of character? That might help with giving more beneficial suggestions.

If I were you I'd join one of the factions (College of Winterhold/Companions/Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood) that fits you playstyle; they often give pretty decent armour with some neat enchantments, and you get a place to stay too (except for the DB). I'd also pick another playstyle than on your first run, just to spice things up and keep the game interesting.

I'm a Khajiit on this game, on the last game I spent most my time swinging an axe round my head just trying to clear any caves i could find, going to try and build up my Archery and magic on this game, i only ever really used my restoration spell before so learning how to Hadouken people to death is quite appealing.

I did try a quest inthe College of Winerhold by there was a bug and i couldnt start the mission, now its been updated I may just make my way there after killing the first dragon and become a mega wizard

If you going with a Khajiit it would be a shame not to take sneak as well. A sneaky Khajiit with a bow is great fun and will be a great contrast to your axe wielder, the only problem you might have is that you find magic redundant.
