So, I had a simple, yet interesting idea for a patch in Skyr

If any of you know of the features associated with SWG, (Star Wars Galaxies; Yes, I know.) You'd know of the feature to wearing items that enhance your ability as well as wearing items "over" those items for your appearance. Now, what if Beth did this for Skyrim? The appearance items would have no affect what so ever. (As in no weight issue or enhancement) This would be useful to having your own unique look while also still having good stats.

I only mentioned SWG as I haven't played any other games with this feature. So I wouldn't know if a game like WoW had this feature or not.

Well considering you can hit the armor cap with any set of heavy armor, and you can enchant it with whatever you wish, I think it'd be almost useless. I disagree anyhow, I don't really want a transmogrification-type thing in Skyrim, would rather run around with what I actually have on. It doesn't break immersion for me in WoW because.. it's an MMO, immersion was broken when it was made.

Use mods and/or Enchanting. It's not really needed though. Skyrim becomes too easy long before min/maxing enters the picture.

Sounds cool, It would make sense to be able to wear some kind of clothing over armor, like a robe. But I wouldn't like anything that didn't make sense.

I meant like if you wanted to wear clothes that offer no protection what so ever and still have the ideal armor stats on. I guess it was just a feature I enjoyed, I feel it'd help for Roleplay reasons at times.

And to the mods.. well, not all of us have mods. Although, I do see why you wouldn't like that kind of stuff.. I just find it to be a nice mini feature in a patch that may please a few players. It shouldn't displease anyone as it'd be completely optional.

A good mod i will suggest is to have companions on the horseback while you ride.

I've never understood how something like this would help in roleplay. To me it seems to take away from roleplaying.

If you feel the need to dress nice before seeing the jarl, change clothes. That seems more like roleplaying than wearing a dress over ebony armor just because you like the look of the dress better than the ebony.
