We've had vampires and werewolves, can we have...

Ok, so we've had vampires and werewolves.

I think the next TES game should feature mummies and frankenstiens quite prominantly.

So there would be a mummy clan and a frankenstien clan you can join and do quests for.

Man alive! It would be TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!

Then after that hunchbacks!!!

Vampires and Werewolves have been a staple of TES freedom since Daggerfall...

Being a vampire in skyrim is completly uninteresting, this is sad, real sad.

I think seeing a Frankenstien clan vs Mummy clan battle would be pretty cool.

Shelob, do you even know what "a Frankenstein" is?

Besides, there are a lot of mummies in this game. Some are created by giant spiders and some actually run around in the Draugr tombs.

I think it makes for very interesting game-play, sorts out the ones who really wanna play vampires. The con/pro balance is now OK as to how everyone and their mother was a vampire on previous TES.

Yeah, a Frankenstien is a great big bloke with a flat head, green skin and bolts coming out of his neck.

I'd love to play one in Skyrim. Actually forget the mymmy clan a hunchback clan would be far better. They could live in a disused church and snatch maidens.

The potential quest lines would be endless.

Draugr are mummies. And yes mummies are different from zombies in the fact that they can cast spells and use weapons. And some use dragon shouts.

By mummies I'm talking about the ones with white bandages and their arms out streached making 'Ughghgghghhhhhhhh' noises.

Like the ones that live in Egypt.

I know this is the second time BGS has turned being Vampire into crap. Atleast there were Vampire Factions and Questlines in Morrowind. They learned a few lessons since Oblivion, but I guess more interesting Vampirism wasn't one of them....lol

As for the other stuff no thanks.....Also we have mummies, pay closer attention to the what the Draugr are when your in a Barrow OP. They are the mummified remains of old Nord warriors. No I do not want bandaged up Eypytian mummies.

Shelob, he asked what one was, not what one looked like.
Even then Frankenstein is the name of the creator, not the monsters. You pretty much need someone that is made up of various body parts.
I don't see why it couldn't be implemented into a future game or has it already happened?

We already have them.
Tamriel is rife with all forms of undead including bonewalkers, which are close to mummies, being prepared corpses.

Atronachs are magical constructs made by a conjurer, it is sort of a monster of Frankenstein, though more magical.
Especially the flesh atronach comes close.

You can sunbath, when you are in a cave during day time you are still considered under the sun..
Vampires are supposed to be stronger, this is not the case, you just have some litle near useless powers.
You can't bite during combat i would have loved the possibility to have unarmed combat/bite. instead you have a cheap drain not really a vampire if you ask me.
You can only feed on sleeping peoples.

Don't get me wrong i still love this game and i still consider it the best game ever.

I would rather see the creature from the Black Lagoon....Oh wait, Skyrim has them. Slaughterfish.

Ya know, ever since I got the game in late November, I've only seen ONE living slaughterfish? Also, I found a pond with Slaughterfish eggs, but no slaughterfish. CONSPIRACY!

EDIT: I guess what I'm trying to say is that Skyrim needs more sea-life.

I think you are trapped in a virtual space and never been outside if you think mummies in Egypt make any noise at all lol

Hell, Daggerfall had wereboars too! I was hoping for werebears in Skyrim since they're supposed to be the most numerous lycanthropes in the province.

Actually werebears and werevultures would be next in line since they're mentioned in the lore where mummies and Frankenstein's monsters are not, anyways Frankenstein's monsters are a creation of science and science doesn't majorly exist in TES with the exception of the Dwemer who disappeared a very long time ago. Frankenstein's monsters would be more a creation of fallout series but considering in fallout 3 you can pretty much end out a partially biologically re-engineered cyborg... that's not all that different to being Frankenstein's monster to begin with, with the exception of not being created from dead body parts and not being ugly as...

I think the OP is confusing mythology and folklore with relatively modern stories. Vampiric and Lycanthropic legends are lore friendly to fantasy RPGs, whereas 19th and 20th century horror fiction is not.

Mummies made sense in Daggerfall namely because about 1/3 of the area is basically desert ie Hammerfell. No need for them as draugr fit perfectly as the undead of the game in the theme in Skyrim.

Unless you are stealth. Being able to hide in a full lit room in plain sight is nice! ( +10%Nightweaver band, +25% Vampire Sneak Bonus, Nightingale Armor, and 100 stealth BEFORE these modifiers!) I slaughter a whole room using stealthkills before any alert is sounded!.
Other than that.. I am sad that you cant stealth kill/throatrip to feed as a vamp.. why do they gotta be sleeping? Stamina/Health regen bonus at night would be nice.. heck even magicka regen. I would also like the option to turn followers.

WEREBOARS! They are missing! Has anyone forgotten about them? In Daggerfall, you were more dangerous as a wereboar due to the claws, jaws, AND tusks!
