Naturally as soon as I post in another thread that I haven't had many problems with bugs, this comes along. I finished the Battle of Windhelm for the Imperial quests and made the run back to Whiterun for some R&R and to smith and sell some stuff before I get back to the MQ. I'm standing at the smelter and none other than Hadvar comes running up with his sword drawn. At first I think it's a guard coming to arrest me for some crime I didn't even realize I committed. Instead it's Hadvar and, with a big smile on his face, he says, "Dragonborn, huh? So which one was the father, you ma or your da?" This cracks me up, but then he follows me all over the city saying stuff like "I don't even think Rikke knows my name" and "This is more fun than I thought it would be" and "I bet I killed more Stormcloaks than you."
This is apparently a 360 bug. I tried going back and doing the Windhelm battle again and fast travelling to Whiterun - didn't work. UESP says that a solution is to stand right next to him in Windhelm and save the game there and load from that save. Great. How the heck do I get Hadvar in Windhelm? I never saw him before or after the battle.
He only follows you around outdoors in the city, so I suppose I could ignore it. I like the guy and don't want to kill him just to get rid of him because that's not something my toon would do anyway. But it really is annoying, not to mention a little creepy.
Anybody have any experience or suggestions?
