haha found an awesome bug!

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 2:03 am

i thought it was just me forgetting all the time but its not!

i live in solitude and in my basemant are 2 manequines one got dressed up in db armour while the other was dressed up in full heavy imperial armour with the closed imperial helmet.

the day that i dressed up the imperial, i accidentally put in steel plate armour too and later he was wearing steel plate with imperial armour.

i thought of nothing about it and took out the armour, went to the smith's and sold it.

24 hours later i return home and find that the same manequin is wearing steel plate armour again.

i thought that i must have left it by accident again so i went off and sold it again but every day it makes steel plate armour!

this is great! i dont know how its working but steel plate armour keeps respawning on my manequin!

wait scratch that! im looking right now and i remembered that it keeps respawning steel plate boots too!

BRILLIANT!

anyone else getting this bug?

If you want to see the inside of it to get a feel of how it will look like, Then
Spoiler
Pickpocket the Solitude Fletcher key from the fletcher and that unlocks the patio door for proudspire manor.

i think its a nice cosey place, it has a basemant with apothecary, enchantment area and a spare room, then the ground floor has a kitchen and sitting area and stuff then the top floor has the bedroom and another eating area. very much like a town house

Well you can kick the Stormcloaks out of Windhelm and STILL get the house.

Then I will have to do the Civil war questline and my theif assassin only wants to kill people. Maybe I will though, who knows.

I am going to make an Orc next and RP him as a weapons collector and buy the house in Windhelm and start hunting.

My Dunmer bought Honeyside in Riften. It's got everything he needs, and is much closer both in distance and style to his beloved homeland of Morrowind.

My Khajiit bought Breezehome in Whiterun. Since he came to this cold land, Sher Khan has greatly missed the savannas and plains from the area of Elsweyr that he calls home. The plains of Whiterun Hold are the closest that he can come to being home in this land.

I have bought the Solitude home before with another character, and while it's big, it just lacks... something. I don't know. The way I RP, I guess it's just not the home for my characters...

Problem with the Khajiit is that you would be the only cat allowed in the cities of Skyrim. I RP a Khajiit that I pretend lives with the traveling caravan. He is a pickpocket/thief but is not allowed to enter the cities at all

Yeah I know what you mean, I am a Stormcloak but that does not mean that I like Ulfric.
He can svck a landmine and I won't care, I got my own reason to be Stormcloak.
Anyway, after completing the civil war quest and defeating Ulfric the new Jarl will allow you to buy property in Windhelm.
I believe, not 100% sure.

I was trying to stay away from the war though as from an RP standpoint, my char has no reason to favor any side

Same. My Nord purchased that home, had it furnished and still......I don't know....it just doesn't feel like home. He owns 3 so far and keeps his squeeze locked up in the Windhelm house. That one just suits a little better and has everything other than a forge. Proudspire is just a place to drop gear, crash and maybe do some enchanting in between journeys.

Yes, great area. A little off the beaten path, but fantastic scenery.
