hand-to-hand fighting= Lame?

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 6:39 am

Ok is it just me or is the hand to hand fighting on skyrim horrible? I mean seriously.. On oblivion your character actually knew how to fight. On skyrim he/she will just throw their fists around and hope to hit something. This needs serious work. How can you be intimidating when you fight like a drunk monkey?

the thing is that as you level it turns into a battle of pure attrition. why on earth they felt hand to hand shouldnt scale i do not know.

yes it is lame because they thought it would be great to not have hand to hand as a skill sure you can enhance its damage with the fists of steel perk enchants or playing as a khajiit but that will only take you so far. they need to bring hand to hand back as a viable skill.

It's just haymakers all around. And they deliver imperceptible damage.

We need jabs, feints, hooks, svcker-punches and uppercuts. I want to leave my opponent toothless on the floor with as much internal organ damage as possible.

its lame, granted it seems like its designed just for brawls, hand to hand has never been particularly good in any es game that i've played.

Hand-to-hand is definitely fun with the right perks and skills, but after seeing that video, I'm going to create a character that uses no weapons, just his fists. Awesomesauce!

It's just as lame as in the real world. I don't see the problem.

It should scale with one handed. Don't know how hard was to put H2H tied with one handed skill.

I am now very tempted to make my Orc a hand-to-hand character.

Martial arts skill would have been so boss for a monk type character.

"Who the f*** wants to be a walrus, so kill him, and end his misery!"

I love when the guy throws a random corpse down a cliff without reason, just after the walrus part. Also like the end, the finishers part.

In Oblivion one of my mages used various touch spells (self created), mainly debuffs, and hand to hand It was pretty fun. I don't know if it was as cool as those videos though. I love it when he names his gauntlets.

Are there finishing moves for H2H? Or are the ones in that vid modded?
