How come the .44 hand load doesnt show up in the recipes? Also, you cant breakdown hollow points?

The .44 SWC requires a schematic and the perk.

I believe that you still have to acquire the recipe for .44 SWC from Jules to make it, whether you take Hand Loader or not (possibly a bug).

Also you cannot break down any type of non-standard ammo to my knowledge.

Yeah, if it's not a bug they need to rewrite the description for the hand loader perk. Also, you'll need a 60 in survival to get the recipe from Jules (and pass a gun skill check too).

At any rate, used with the cowboy perk it's definitely worth the trouble to load SWC ammo (assuming lever guns work in your game).

You could read a Lads Life with a Survival of 40, that might do the trick. It's worth the effort.

Also, you can Sell handloaded ammo for a slight profit.

Books for Survival are very easy to find. That's +16 there already, magazine is +20. How much more points you need over basic skills? 4-6?

Even if you aren't playing hardcoe (why would one choose not to play hardcoe is another question), it's not a hard thing to do to pass that check.
