Hard drive question.

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 12:46 pm

I've got a question for my fellow Xboxer's.

I have two Xbox's, one in my den and one in my bedroom. I usually play Skyrim in the living room on my main Xbox (an Elite) but I may play it a bit on the Xbox in the bedroom. I know if I just take out my hard drive and plug it into the Xbox in the bedroom I should be able to play it fine with my current character. But is there anything I should worry about in doing this? Could I run into any potential problems doing something like this? I just want to be on the safe side.

no should be fine other than if you have it installed if you move the hard drive from 1 system to another it will only play from the hard drive on the system it was originally installed so it will play from the disc instead of the hard drive

I've got two hard drives, and i want to transfer some saves from one to the other. Would a normal memory stick be alright for this, or do i have to buy an xbox memory card?

Any memory stick should do. I use my flash drive all the time to transfer saves

Nah it's fine. If you have internet connection on the other xbox then you will be able to log into xbox live as normal.
