hardcoe mode and not regenerating hitpoints

Is it normal for hardcoe mode to not regenerate hitpoints when sleeping? Im not talking about crippled limbs, just plain hitpoints...

Fairly certain its working as intended.

My character doesn't heal limb, nor heal health after sleeping the night.
I just eat & drink something when I get up.

Yes, there is no healing at all with sleep in hardcoe mode. I was hoping it would heal a little while sleeping. In Fallout 1 & 2 I remember there being a sleep/wait until healed option. I guess we'll have to mod it in ourselves.
