100 gamer points on the 360 is quite a big reward.
Really? What can I use these gamer points to obtain? So far I have apparently been missing out on all the tangible rewards for the gamer points I have earned over the years.
Also, why is there always someone (not you, specifically) who uses every hardcoe reward thread as a soapbox to lecture everyone about how games svck if they don't make you micromanage stuff like eating food, drinking, sleeping etc? I have been playing on hardcoe and honestly, I have barely had to pay attention to any of that. Other than a couple of fights where my health got low and I could not instantly heal, hardcoe hasn't really changed the game significantly for me at all from what FO3 was. For the people who would always like to remind us that hardcoe mode is its own reward - fair enough. However, if hardcoe mode is truly its own reward, I agree with others who have commented that it is rather deceptive for the game to promise a "special" reward. Just say it is a unique achievement and be done with it. None of this intentionally ambiguous language that makes people think they might get a cool weapon or unique in-game item that they can use in their next play through...
You guys are focusing on the wrong thing. You keep criticizing other users for "wanting" or "expecting" a reward for completing hardcoe mode. The truth is, the only reason anyone expects a reward is because the game says you will get one. If all you get is an achievement, they could have easily just never mentioned the special reward, since being able to play hardcoe is apparently reward enough for many of you. Then when you finish the game your achievement pops up onscreen and you can feel real good about yourself. Why even bother to bring it up at the beginning of the game?
