Has anybody from Bethesda ever actually said that...

Post » Thu Jun 28, 2012 3:00 am

...Dawnguard is even coming out for PC and PS3? They've always said that it's exclusive for the Xbox 360, they've never said "timed exclusive". At E3 when Todd was asked about the other platforms, he could've said something like "later", but no, he said "no idea" which made me think that he was just scared of the [censored]storm that would have occured if he had revealed that it'a a 360 exclusive.

And please don't tell me to go to the Dawnguaed subforum, I don't want to see any spoilers.

And I knew thay as well, I don't live under a rock. It could've been possoble that they had some deal specifically about Dawnguard.

Why would they do that?
It would just be bad business.

Well that just depends on how much they got paid for it.

it's timed, beth absolutely worship the ground the 360 lays on thats no secret. i don't think they'd release it as an exclusive to that console, it'd be a huge mistake anyway and damage their credibility.

No it's not coming out for PC and PS3, because Bethesda are quite obviously going to exclude two thirds of the platforms that the game was originally released for as part of their policy of shooting themselves repeatedly in the foot.

Do I need to add one of these: ;) ?

Confirmed many times, in E3 video interviews as well as on the Bethblog on the very first day Dawnguard was announced.

It's only a timed exclusive window, definitely coming to PS3 and PC later.
