It shows as completed and 'resetquest' just makes it pop back into the incomplete section but all the stages are still complete so the night mother wont speak and there are no contacts or targets. I used 'setstage DBrecurring #' but it has no effect no matter what I set it to. The wiki says that sometime the 'reckless mage' will appear in winterhold and if you kill him the quest will end permanently but there must be some way to start it back up again?
