Finished Arkham Asylum this week actually :X Great game but sort of repetitive.

Switching back and forth between Red Dead Redemption and FIFA 12 with a dash of Terarria now.

Thought about busting out morrowind but couldn't find my discs :(

That happens to me all the time. When I don't find something new of interest, I dig old stuff I missed at the time. That's how I found out about Gothic, for instance. Same with music. If nothing catches my ear, I tend to look in the days before my time and mostly am amazed. As of now, I'm playing New Vegas (not old, but, it's been a year already) because most bugs are fixed and I finally can enjoy the game (which I couldn't a year ago, it kept freezing after 2 hours of gameplay). Good things come to those who wait...

What is with you people all talking about "passing the time 'til Skyrim"? It's only a game, guys, not a life goal! I'll play it when it comes out, yeah, but there's no way I'm counting down the days or looking for other things to "pass the time until". That just leads to wasted days.

Plus, you'll probably all slam the game two days after release, like you did with Oblivion anyway :P

Well...I have been revisiting a VN I played a while back...aaaand I just ran through Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2, which by the way was AWESOME. I'm in the process of downloading Daggerfall (at the speed of soil erosion thanks to my intenret) so I'll be giving that a go in the next few days, but I expect to be disappointed with it like I was the last time I tried to play it.

I'd be playing Morrowind right now if I wasn't terrified of my CPU temp going higher than 70C. Really need a laptop cooler for the peace of mind.

Anyways video games are good. There's nothing new there, and certainly nothing surprising. It's not like I've forgotten about how good video games are. You'd have to be some kind of pathetic neckbeard who hates everything to think that they weren't any good. :P

Were all so nitpicky. There's gonna be that one annoying feature or that one thing missing and were gonna rush to the forums to complain about it.

Lol and I also had no internet for months and just last week I finally got around to watching the E3 demos and the last week I've been pretty pumped. No time for video games though. :( (Skyrim is different though. Girlfriend goes out the window for all I care) :P

Your Xbox 360?

Pfeh. I'd still be rocking my original Xbox if it hadn't caught literal fire one night while playing a DVD. :P

I've just watched the woeful Max Payne movie and it's making me want to dig out Max Payne 2 again, which I played about four years ago (so it was still old) and loved it.

Well, its because people are excited about a game... basicly. i mean, we played Oblivion, and enjoyed it, wouldnt it be reasonable to believe that the next game should be equally good or better? especially after seing leaked/official stuff around the internet...

its just like when we were kids and couldnt wait for our birthdays when we could open presents or for those who celebrate cristmas with gifts and so on :P

naturally, everyone has something they look forward to. what about you? :P

This.

That said, I've been playing a bit of Fallout 3 and EU3 and Minecraft (3), but they're not exactly old.

And here I was thinking you were going to talk about old games ;).

I have been playing Galactic Civilizations 2 for a bit lately. Besides that I've mostly been playing very recent stuff, like Terran Conflict and Dawn of War 2. Thinking about playing VtM - Redemption again, though this time I'll probably cheat. Can't be bothered to spend the first few areas levelling Feed and Blood Healing again.

Couldn't care less about Skyrim though, so I guess this is slightly off-topic :ermm:.

Looking forward to something is nice, but a lot of people seem to be having the attitude of "I need to kill time 'til Skyrim comes out". I'm looking forward to the release too, but in the meantime, I have plenty of other stuff to do, and it just strikes me as odd that other people don't, I suppose.
