I hate Farkas..

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 7:08 pm

Every time I made new character I encountered at least 1 bugg/glitch when starting companion quest line... And Farkas is N1 moron, I guess that explains him being stupid mofo...

Anyway~ I just started quest line and first quest he gave me was to kill bandit inside of a cave (I did that and it was completed) but it did not give me option to return to Farkas it just auto finished and marked as completed...

After I went to him anyway and I could not hand over quest for reward or anything... However he did give me following quest to talk to old man (Skjor) which lead me to a cave to retrive artifact. Basically Now I got a problem with icon buggs. I got two icons displayed "one for current quest to retrive artifact" and icon for previous quest where I had to kill bandit and return to Farkas after I got job done... And it's so freaking annoying when you have multiple icons displayed at compas when in a dungeon it annoys the living [censored] out of me.

(Return to farkas) NO CAN DO!

Is there a way to reset all icons ingame or something?

Sorry for rage, but this is simply annoying... so many patches not a single proper Fartass fix..

the worst is when he goes down and never gets back up so he just crawls around pitifully on the ground

I dislike all the Companions, they're probably the shallowest guild in terms of character development, with the exeption of Kodlak.

I don't use trainers. Leveling is one of my main gameplay drives, so I want to make it last as long as possible.

I quite liked the Companions when I first got "in" with them, but now I only like Aela. Njada was the worst for me...I so enjoyed sacrificing her!

i only really use trainers when changing from say 1h to 2h. just to help cushion the blow.

I still cannot tell the difference between farkas and vilkas ... I dont know which one of them accompanies you first or which one is the 2 handed trainer, do they have the same voice actor? Mass confusion

Farkas is the bigger one in steel armor. He's with you on that first quest.
Vilkas is the grumpy one in wolf armor. He's the two-handed trainer.
Not same voice actor.

My farkas is stuck in beast-form, even after curing him. Pretty much useless as a follower, now.

I hate any of them when I'm forced to bring them as followers, because they like to rush ahead when I'm sneaking, and move in front of me when I'm using a sword. As with any of the followers, I want to stab them every time they push my character, especially when they're sneaking.

Having to go to Ysgrammor's Tomb 3 seperate times is also annoying. Farkas and Vilkas could have competed their parts together.

Farkas is the brawn, while Vilkas has the brains.

I liked Aela and Kodlak. Too bad things happen a bit too quickly in the questline.
